BOUQUET OF THE SEASON
Each season brings new trends, colours, flowers and lots of exciting materials that can be added to wedding bouquets to create wow factor! In this section of my website, I will be turning the spotlight on a bouquet I have created especially for the changing seasons.
Each bouquet will feature the very latest trends in wedding floral design to give you lots of ideas for your own wedding flowers and, hopefully, will knock your socks off!!
SPRING
"ELOISE"
Spring is just around the corner and, hopefully, we have seen the last of the snow for this year! Springtime brings some fabulous colours for flowers - bright sunshine yellows, lime greens, bright oranges, burnt coral, russet, electric blue, and voilet to name a few. Bright, light citrus colours look set to be a definite trend for the Springtime Bride.
New for 2010 are the brightly coloured sisal bouquet holders available in hot pink, lime, lilac and yellow. I have chosen the lime green sisal holder for this bouquet which is a hand-tied posy featuring ivory gerbera, alstromeria (peruvian lily), vintage cream roses and lime green hydrangea tinged with russet. The bouquet is decorated with orange, lime and yellow Giunco sticks. These are tied with gold bullion wire around the edges.
The stems have been left a little longer than normal which enables the bouquet to be held at waist level with the stems straight down or carried over the arm. I have bound the stems in bright orange satin and organza ribbon with a bow and ribbon trail.

Keep logging on and see you soon with a Summer Bouquet! Brenda, Rainbow Wedding Flowers
